Speed nut is a ratcheting nut that replaces a hex nut. It is easily pushed onto the threads of a bolt,
saving time as less rotation is required. Just a partial turn with a wrench and you’re done!

Two concepts are shown below. The first shows one part used multiple times to create an assembly. The second (lower right image) shows one part that includes a living hinge. The center bore ensures the alignment of the screw in the nut.
